NewTV Wins Another Emmy Award!

NewTV is honored to win another Boston/New England Emmy® Award. John Horrigan, host of NewTV’s original program, “The Folklorist,”was recognized for Program – Host/Moderator at the award ceremony on June 1st. The show was also nominated for two other Emmy Awards in 2013, in the Writer Program and Historical/Cultural Program/Special categories.

Congratulations to John and the talented cast and crew, including Producer Andrew Eldridge and Associate Producer Melinda Garfield.

June 2013 *Thank You for attending the Strawberry Festival!* Many thanks to everyone who attended and supported our first annual Strawberry Festival on May 30th. It was a wonderful evening full of celebration, arts, culture, and strawberries! We look forward to seeing you all, and more, at next year's event!		March 2013 *Nathaniel Allen House* NCA purchased the historic Nathaniel Allen House property in West Newton in late 2012. NCA is in the planning process with hopes to return the property to its former glory as a school and community arts center. Read more about the purchase here.



The NCA is designed as a resource for the entire community to inspire, educate and bring together audiences and artsts to celebrate the arts and enrich the cultural life in Newton.
