Sophy Tuttle is an interdisciplinary artist based in Lowell, MA. Her work is focused on the natural world, our place in it, and the conflicts and collaborations we find ourselves in everyday with nature. Her science-based murals and paintings use natural imagery to bring humans closer to their wild neighbors and highlight important environmental and social justice issues.

In this lecture, Sophy will speak about her work as a muralist and installation artist, as well as about other artists who are working with the same themes of nature, research, and environmental activism within art.
