We have planned a fun\, exciting curriculum that involves plenty of outdoor play while adhering to the new safety guidelines. We will be limiting the number of children enrolled to 10 children per session. DESCRIPTION:Join the Scandinavian Cultural Center for a virtual screening of Ingmar Bergman’s 1992 film The Best Intentions\, available throughout the month of August. \nSwedish master Ingmar Bergman penned this loving tribute to his parent’s epic romance. In 1909\, poor\, idealistic theology student Henrik Bergman falls in love with Anna Åkerbloom\, the intelligent\, educated daughter of a rich family in Uppsala. After their wedding Henrik becomes a priest in the north of Sweden. Urbane Anna can’t stand living in the rural county and grows increasingly restless. DESCRIPTION:Newton Cultural Development along with Village Bank and Newton Community Pride\, bring you Newton Performances in the Park!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis week\, an international ensemble of all-female performers will showcase music from around the world. Audiences will get a taste of different cultures from around the globe through the expression of music and dance. \nTickets are free\, but limited and you MUST register in advance to attend. Please bring your ticket with you (electronic or hard copy). \nClick here to register. \nCOVID SAFETY: \nAll performers will maintain a 25 foot distance from audience. The grounds will be marked for social distancing and safety of all attending. Audience members are encouraged to maintain a 6 foot distance and wear a face covering.
