SUMMARY:New Art Center presents: Fabric Dyeing and Printing - A Mask Workshop
DESCRIPTION:We have all been wearing masks for a year now\, but is your mask a beautiful handmade work of art? Design and create a fabric mask in this three-day workshop. In session one\, students will explore dyeing techniques such as tie-dye and Japanese Shibori. Once students have chosen the colors for their fabrics\, they will add patterns designs using carved linoleum stamps in session two. In session three\, students will construct and sew their fabric into wearable works of art. \nClick here to learn more and register.
