SUMMARY:New Arts Center presents: Outdoor Landscape Painting
DESCRIPTION:This class for acrylic and/or oil painters will explore the unique challenges of landscape painting and provide students with the skills to render space two-dimensionally. We will be working outdoors\, or if the weather is bad\, working indoors using photographs and books. Students will learn composition\, light\, and shading\, and the effects of light on color to create a dynamic series of landscapes. Class demonstrations will focus on subject selection\, under-painting\, personal expression\, and creating a sense of space.
