DESCRIPTION:The Monologue Project: Renters Edition \nWe are thrilled to be bringing back The Monologue Project for its fourth iteration. This project provides an opportunity for a specific subset of the population of Newton– this year\, people who rent their homes in Newton– to come together and make their voices heard in a supportive and enjoyable environment. \nSpend the summer bonding with fellow renters and exploring different story-sharing and performance techniques before sharing your story with a broader Newton audience in October. Newton Theatre Company is proud to offer an encouraging and meaningful experience to renters of all ages and backgrounds\, whether you have any experience performing or not. \nFind your voice\, share your story\, and become an integral part of the Newton Renter community!\nLogistics \nRehearsals: 20 Hours\, Spread Over 10 Weeks\nStart Date: Week of August 22nd (Rehearsal times TBD)\nLocation: Casselman House (195 Sumner St)\nPerformances: October 29th & 30th \nStipends Available for All Performers • On-site Child Care Available\nPicture\nWant to learn more? Esther\, and Sarah Jean Horowitz as they discuss their books\, their writing and the impact they have on readers of all ages! \n\nBren Bataclan (he/him) author of Fe: A Traumatized Son’s Graphic Memoir \nAnna Burke (she/her) award-winning author of Compass Rose\, Thorn\, Nottingham and the Seal Cove Romance series\nFederico Erebia (he/him) whose artisanry\, woodwork\, furniture design\, and books have been featured in Boston Spirit Magazine\, Boston Globe Magazine and The Boston Globe\, among others.\nJane C.
