DESCRIPTION:The Hyde Community Center is proud to host its annual summer series featuring concerts\, movies\, theater productions and cultural celebrations. We hope you will join us in enjoying this wide range of family-friendly events at the Hyde Bandstand beginning this month. \nAll listed events are free and take place outside on the Hyde Bandstand and Playground. Unless otherwise noted\, events are Friday evening; concerts begin at 6 PM\, and movies start around dusk. Friday concerts and movies will move into the Hyde Gym in case of rain.

Next\, journey to the heart of Americana with Copland’s beloved Appalachian Spring\, a radiant celebration of hope and simplicity. Cooperative member Aron Zelkowicz brings fire and finesse as the cello soloist to Boccherini’s Cello Concerto in G Major\, a showcase of Classical-era brilliance and virtuosity. The evening culminates with Dvořák’s Czech Suite\, a vibrant tapestry of Bohemian dance rhythms and folk melodies that will leave your spirit lifted.
