DESCRIPTION:Bay Colony Brass presents “Salute to Service: Honoring our Veterans” \nSaturday\, November 8\, 2025 – 7:30 pm \nSecond Church in Newton | 60 Highland Street | West Newton\, MA \nMusic director Philip Sanborn leads Newton’s 20-member BAY COLONY BRASS in a free concert in honor of Veterans Day\, featuring Aaron Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man” and John Williams’ “Hymn to the Fallen.” Through generous grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council\, the Newton Cultural Council\, and other local cultural councils\, the inaugural class of high school musicians in the Bay Colony Brass Youth Program will be featured in the performance. \nFREE ADMISSION \nParking is available adjacent to the building at Second Church in Newton. Parking lots are accessible from either Highland Street or Chestnut Street. \nAccess for those with limited mobility is available immediately uphill from the sanctuary via the side driveway or drive-up entrance through the main doors to the sanctuary. \nLearn more about Bay Colony Brass at www.baycolonybrass.org.
