SUMMARY:New Art Center presents: Glass Mosaic Jewelry Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Using a wide selection of precut colored glass pieces\, beads\, iridized and dichroic glass\, create a mini mosaic inside a pendant/necklace. Once the glass pieces are glued to the metal\, grout your pendants with one of the many colored grouts available and clean your pieces. Voila! You’ll be provided a black leather cord necklace for each pendant. A $75.00 materials fee per student for 4 pendants is included in the tuition price.\nAdditional pendants: $ 15.00 each. The class is open to kids over 10 accompanied by a participating adult. Students must wear close-toed shoes and safety glasses or reading glasses. \nRegister here.

DESCRIPTION:Newton Open Studios is back with 75 Newton artists and artisans for an all-outdoor event this year. Newton Open Studios 2021 will have locations throughout the city with artists displaying their works for sale from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday\, June 26th\, Rain date\, June 27th.  Artist registration is still open to participate through June 18th by signing up here.  Come explore\, browse and buy at as many artist sites as you like.  Set your own tour map by visiting the Newton Open Studios website which allows you to save a “favorites list” on your own device.  Map out your route to Newton Open Studios here.
