We have planned a fun\, exciting curriculum that involves plenty of outdoor play while adhering to the new safety guidelines. We will be limiting the number of children enrolled to 10 children per session. DESCRIPTION:Join the Scandinavian Cultural Center for a virtual screening of Ingmar Bergman’s 1992 film The Best Intentions\, available throughout the month of August. \nSwedish master Ingmar Bergman penned this loving tribute to his parent’s epic romance. In 1909\, poor\, idealistic theology student Henrik Bergman falls in love with Anna Åkerbloom\, the intelligent\, educated daughter of a rich family in Uppsala. After their wedding Henrik becomes a priest in the north of Sweden. Urbane Anna can’t stand living in the rural county and grows increasingly restless. DESCRIPTION:New Art Live Online Learning – Weekly online class at designated class times. New Art faculty conduct a real-time class through Zoom video meetings. \nOrigami\, the art of paper folding\, is a fun and easy art that can be done at all levels. It is simple to do at home and needs no special paper. Origami is also a great way to develop and increase fine motor skills. These live online classes will follow the skills of the students and adjust projects accordingly. We will learn about the history of Origami as well as the basic folds\, and create simple projects including the traditional origami Cicada. \nPlease note: Online registration for this class ends on Wednesday\, August 5th at 12PM.
