DESCRIPTION:For more than 30 years the Newton Art Association (NAA) has recognized art students through the NAA High School Senior Scholarship Program. NAA strongly believes that talented students deserve to be acknowledged for their artistic accomplishments.  \nSenior students who go to high school in Newton or are residents of Newton are eligible to apply for the scholarships. Consistently\, the submitted artworks reveal an extensive range of creativity across all media\, including painting\, drawing\, collage/mixed media\, photography\, jewelry\, fabric art and 3D works.  \nAwards are based on an overall assessment of the senior’s creativity\, artistic expression\, technical skills\, and personal statement.
