DESCRIPTION:The Naumburg Award-winning Lydian String Quartet\, Ensemble in Residence at The Allen Center\, will present an evening of exceptional chamber music. The program features Schubert’s Quartettsatz (Quartet Movement) in C minor\, D. 703\, Lembit Beecher (b. 1980) Juniper and Birch (2024\, commissioned by the Lydian String Quartet)\, and Benjamin Britten’s String Quartet No. 2 (1945).
