DESCRIPTION:This summer\, Newton Theatre Kids is excited to offer students entering grades 5-8 the opportunity to hone their theatrical abilities in a supportive and engaging virtual environment. There are 2 intensives. Each intensive lasts for one week and focuses on a different genre of theater\, allowing participants to develop meaningful new skills while increasing their confidence and versatility as performers. Using a blend of group work\, individual coaching\, and solo rehearsal\, these intensives maximize participant growth while minimizing Zoom fatigue. All experience levels welcome! \nEach intensive will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM\, Monday through Friday. This three-hour window will include group discussions and activities over Zoom\, individualized coaching over Zoom\, and solo rehearsal time. This mix of approaches allows for an increase in personalized\, individual coaching time and encourages participants to become mindful\, self-motivated artists. \nThe price of each intensive $275. SUMMARY:Newton Theatre Kids: Summer Intensive Series
DESCRIPTION:This summer\, Newton Theatre Kids is excited to offer students entering grades 5-8 the opportunity to hone their theatrical abilities in a supportive and engaging virtual environment. There are 2 intensives. Each intensive lasts for one week and focuses on a different genre of theater\, allowing participants to develop meaningful new skills while increasing their confidence and versatility as performers. Using a blend of group work\, individual coaching\, and solo rehearsal\, these intensives maximize participant growth while minimizing Zoom fatigue. All experience levels welcome! \nEach intensive will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM\, Monday through Friday. This three-hour window will include group discussions and activities over Zoom\, individualized coaching over Zoom\, and solo rehearsal time. This mix of approaches allows for an increase in personalized\, individual coaching time and encourages participants to become mindful\, self-motivated artists. \nThe price of each intensive $275.
