SUMMARY:Lunchtime Pop-Ups at The Allen Center
DESCRIPTION:What better way to celebrate National Farmers Market Week than with a Farmers’ Market on August 7th on the Allen Center patio? At this week’s pop-up the Allen Center welcomes one of the region’s top farms with sustainable growing practices–Farmer Tim’s Vegetables. But that’s just the beginning…One of Newton’s fave farmers’ market vendors–Hungry Ninja–is delivering their “we can’t believe they’re this good bowls” for lunch.  For those with a sweet tooth\, Sweet Dream will be stocked with pastries from North End’s Modern Pastry. (Yes\, Modern Pastry!) There’ll be summery retail shopping with Greentail Table and Fulfilled Goods. Back by popular demand\, Lynne’s Vintique is restocked with local\, organic honey from Peter Hauschka’s Farm (yes\, related to that Hauschka).  And budding lemonade entrepreneur and neighbor Lucy will be selling lemonade. The pop-up is open from 11:30 AM-2PM. It’s free and all are welcome!\n\nFor more on all of the small businesses participating in the August 7th pop-up\, click HERE.
