DESCRIPTION:Music Explorers Summer Camp-in-a-Box is a music and arts summer camp for children from 5 to 9 years old. \nWe have reimagined courses in music\, theater\, movement\, and visual arts to engage with your child through distance learning and enrichment activities. Musical instruments\, art and activity supplies\, and games are all included in your Camp-in-a-Box. \nYounger campers have more guidance and supervision from counselors and educators when exploring music\, theater\, and art. Use the supportive structure of weekly instruction and feedback to develop your own photography project. We will focus on exploration of concept\, the creation curve\, the editing process\, critique\, and presentation. The class will culminate in a slideshow of the student projects.\nStudents should have an understanding of the basics of photography\, their cameras\, and editing software\, as this class is not focused on the technical elements of photography\, but the ideas and concepts of photography. The instructor\, Julie Williams-Krishnan\, is a widely exhibited fine art photographer and teacher\, and the Director of Programs at the Griffin Museum of Photography.
