At the end of the exhibit the framed prints will be returned to the photographers. DESCRIPTION:For students age 9 and up \nLocation: Live online gatherings with prepared lessons and live instruction on AmericanFiddleMethod.com \nOur fantastic and fun fiddle camp that we put on with Brian Wicklund is still happening this summer\, with two five-day sessions in June or August. Fiddle Pal Camp From Home provides a fun environment for students to discover\, learn\, and play a diverse range of styles\, including Bluegrass\, Scottish\, Jazz\, Appalachian\, Irish\, and Blues. Campers will attend a live morning all-camp round-up before splitting off to work with prepared lessons taught by Fiddle Camp instructors. DESCRIPTION:A photography contest during COVID-19 \n\n\n\nSubmissions accepted June 1\, 2020 through June 30\, 2020 \nPublic Exhibition Place & Dates: TBD \n\n\n\n\n\nHow do we connect when we are physically distant? While COVID 19 continues to impact lives around the world\, we have the opportunity to document this life-altering event in a very personal way through photography and our stories: how it affects our families\, our work\, our community\, and our daily lives. \nA juried exhibition of 20 photographs selected by an arts community committee will be at a location and time to be determined. At the end of the exhibit the framed prints will be returned to the photographers. All contest entries will be archived with Historic Newton so that residents in the future can learn about life in Newton during the COVID-19 pandemic. \nVisit website for submission guidelines.

DESCRIPTION:Pro Arte finishes our 43rd season with a socially distanced performance from the back deck of our principal flute\, Ann Bobo. This event is the first time that any of Pro Arte’s musicians have been able to play together in the past three months. The concert is being provided free of charge as part of Pro Arte’s mission to bring music to our community\, especially in these times when music can soothe and heal.
