DESCRIPTION:Learn about our Expressive Arts Therapy program for grades 6-8 and meet the instructors at a free informational session on March 7 at 7:00 PM. The event will take place on Zoom. \nOur expressive art therapy group provides a safe and responsive space for young teens to create\, connect and share in a variety of art modalities in a confidential community environment. Art Therapy can “improve cognitive and sensory-motor functions\, foster self-esteem and self-awareness\, cultivate emotional resilience\, promote insight\, enhance social skills and reduce/resolve conflicts and distress” (American Art Therapy Association). \nWe are currently enrolling for the Spring Term and cost is on a sliding scale. \nCome learn about this opportunity!
