DESCRIPTION:Join Zamir Chorale’s Artistic Director\, Josh Jacobson as he presents “Leonard Bernstein: The Jewish Side.” Leonard Bernstein took the musical world by storm with his spectacular last-minute\, a-star-is-born conducting turn with the New York Philharmonic in 1943. Until his passing in 1990\, he was astonishingly active as a conductor\, composer\, pianist\, and teacher. Leonard Bernstein: The Jewish Side will explore Bernstein’s Judaism and how it was manifest in his musical output. This virtual event will be co-hosted by Cantor David Tilman\, former creative consultant for the Leonard Bernstein Centennial Exhibit.  Register here to connect with Leonard Berstein’s Jewish Side.
