She was a cheerleading captain and flyer at Newton North where she placed with her team in state competitions. After graduating cum laude from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Arts, she began intensely studying Greek, Turkish, and Arabic dance styles. She has performed with local dance companies as well as solo and was recently awarded First Place with her partner in 2019 for Dancing with the Newton Stars. She currently lives in Newton and teaches belly dance locally.
