Using stencils\, color shapers\, brayers\, and other tools\, we’ll produce vibrant and layered images without a press. Students will investigate intuitive mark-making as the base for an abstract painting\, and explore ways that color heightens the work. They will explore the relationship between line\, shape and color\, and look at art from the present and past to better understand the possibilities.
