SUMMARY:Newton Art Association presents The Art of Critique by Robert Siegelman
DESCRIPTION:Robert Siegelman\, a widely recognized and acclaimed artist and teacher\, will lead a dynamic discussion that expands the boundaries of art critique. What does our artwork say? What questions does our work ask? This is an exceptional opportunity to experience and engage in a unique approach to art critique. \nThe discussion will spring from the artworks of five NAA artists who submit three (3) recent related works. Submitted works may be in progress or finished. They are accepted on a first come basis. All attendees participate in the discussion. NAA artists interested in submitting works should contact Cindy Cole (cynthiahcole@gmail.com). Deadline for submissions: February 1\, 2023. \nSiegelman is a photographer\, figurative expressionist\, and a transformative teacher. His teaching itself is a fine art. He taught at The SMFA/Tufts University in Boston for forty years. He continues to teach and work with artists privately. \nNote: This is a Zoom presentation.
