DESCRIPTION:The Newton Art Association in association with the Piano Craft Gallery in Boston and the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry presents Human Being / Being Human: Experience. Reflection. Engagement.  The NAA’s first open juried show includes 33 artists—including 18 NAA members—and 45 artworks.\n\nThe exhibit opens Friday\, Feb. 4\, and runs through Feb. 27 at the Piano Craft Gallery on Tremont Street. Join the awards reception via Zoom\, Friday\, Feb. 4\, 7:00 p.m. This virtual awards reception will feature prizes\, judges’ comments\, artists’ responses\, as well as an introduction to videos about participants in the Roxbury artist group. You can also attend the reception live at the gallery 6:00–9:00 p.m.—just remember your mask and vax card. The jurors included Erik Grau and Ibrahim Ali-Salaam.
