*The Scandinavian Cultural Center presents a film screening of Push from award-winning Swedish director Fredrik Gertten on Saturday, January 8 at 1:00 pm. This powerful documentary investigates why we can’t afford to live in our own cities anymore. Tickets are $7 or free for members. Proof of vaccination and masks are required to attend. *The Newton Art Association hosts a virtual demonstration on Sunday, January 9th at 2:00 pm with renowned watercolorist Irena Roman.
