*Join Zamir Chorale of Boston tonite for a free online celebration of the 400th anniversary of the publication of Salamone Rossi’s pathbreaking collection of Jewish choral music. *Newton Theatre Company’s beloved Monologue Project is back on Saturday, October 29th at 3:00 pm with The Monologue Project: Renters’ Edition. Shining a spotlight on renters in Newton please join your neighbors for an afternoon of stories about the reality of renting a home in Newton– the good, the bad, and the bemusing. *Suzuki School of Newton performs Spooky Suzuki on Sunday, October 30th at 2:00 pm. Listen to a repertoire that includes songs about Bats and Owls, a Transylvanian Lullaby, or Gabby the Ghost.
*The Scandinavian Cultural Center hosts two Horror filled films on Halloween Weekend. The 1922 Swedish silent film Häxan includes grave robbing, torture, possessed nuns, and a satanic Sabbathon on Sunday, October 30th at 7:00 pm. On Saturday, October 29th at 1:00 pm enjoy Nelly & Nadine, the remarkable story of two women falling in love in the Ravensbrück Concentration camp. Register for a frightfully good time here.
