*The Scandinavian Cultural Center screens the film, The Elk Forest on Saturday, January 21 at 1:00 pm. This Norwegian tale explores the need to feel a sense of belonging in a fragile, shrinking community. *The Newton Community Chorus is thrilled to announce Welcome Bach, its first live concert in over two years at The Eliot Church of Newton on Saturday, January 21 at 8:00 pm.
