WEEK 7 THEME: LETTERS, WORDS, ART

From graffiti to calligraphy to Robert Indiana’s LOVE sculpture, artists have used words and writing as inspiration! Learn about lettering and fonts as you use the curves and angles of letters to create amazing paintings, collages and more! Including a special word in your artwork can give it new meaning.

Grades 2-5 spend Summer Vacation immersed in the arts. New Art faculty conduct real-time classes through Zoom video meetings. Each week will be packed with possibilities, imagination, and fun as students explore 2 exciting activities each day: 2D Art & Drama Fun.
