The 3rd annual summertime pop-up series at West Newton’s Allen Center kicks off on Thursday, July 24th with a blockbuster—reknowned celebrity chef Thiago Silva of SALT Patisserie is catering lunch. Every Thursday through mid-August a different Newton restaurant pops up on the tented patio along with a rotating showcase of Newton’s small businesses. The event runs from 11:30 AM-2 PM, and all meals must be ordered on-line. (Food will not be for sale at the pop-up.)
