Please join Historic Newton for the premiere of “An Uncommon Education: The Allen School,” a 40-minute documentary film that highlights the educators, students, and legacy of the West Newton English and Classical School, better known as the Allen School (1854-1900). Enjoy a cocktail reception and hear from the film’s creators during a live panel discussion at The Allen Center, the historic homestead of Nathaniel Topliff Allen lovingly renovated into a Center for Arts and Culture in Newton.
