Newton Free Library presents: Communicating in a Diverse World

March 2, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Attorney Frederick Golder, a mediator and arbitrator with more than 20 years of experience, for a session in which you will learn how to communicate effectively in a diverse world. Expressing opposing viewpoints can be dangerous. Attendees will come to understand the differences in core values, gender, race, culture, religion, age and sexual orientation. Learn to reframe contentious issues such as:

  • Men against women,
  • Blacks against whites
  • Liberals against conservatives

When you learn the reasons for divisiveness, you will be able to communicate more effectively, resolve conflicts more easily and maintain positive relationships. Cosponsored by the Newton Human Rights Commission. Click here to register.
