Join Zamir Chorale’s Artistic Director, Josh Jacobson as he presents “Leonard Bernstein: The Jewish Side.” Leonard Bernstein took the musical world by storm with his spectacular last-minute, a-star-is-born conducting turn with the New York Philharmonic in 1943. Until his passing in 1990, he was astonishingly active as a conductor, composer, pianist, and teacher. Leonard Bernstein: The Jewish Side will explore Bernstein’s Judaism and how it was manifest in his musical output. This virtual event will be co-hosted by Cantor David Tilman, former creative consultant for the Leonard Bernstein Centennial Exhibit. Register here to connect with Leonard Berstein’s Jewish Side.
